Love slave to a Turkish beauty, in boudoir or battle he was the Great Smith!

    1. Look, the tags are very idiosyncratic and reflect artistic tropes and themes rather than accuracy (much like the text of these stories). I have lots of hardback books tagged “paperback” because they aren’t magazines or comics, and stories about Helen of Troy tagged “toga”. I know very well that heroic age Greek women did not wear togas (neither women, nor Greeks, nor people of the Heroic Age), but here we are.

  1. Manly, but kneeling with a rueful expression. Also, hair parted on the wrong side; ergo,Watson, there’s more to this than meets the eye!
