  1. There it is again: The Unnoticed Gunfire Syndrome. A photograph of this scene would be all but obscured by a belching cloud of gray smoke, and the Indian would be hammered backward with flesh and blood spraying from a hole in his back you couldn’t cover with your hand…

    But here, that little red soda-straw with cigarette smoke swirling out makes this look more like a Mattel toy. Small wonder it’s completely unnoticed.

    1. The artist, who was fond of painting colourful feathers, insisted more on the wild majesty of the proud fearless warrior rather than the annoying, inglorious & common pulling of a trigger.
