Looks like the artist used the same model as the Nov. 1937 issue with the same facial expression: mad not embarrassed or humiliated. Even the guy with the gun coming to her rescue looks the same and who are scary white face dudes wearing tuxes in the background one carrying a candelabra? There is also another apparently dead blond girl attached to another post. Did the bad guy make her drink the boiling hot liquid in the ladle?
