Oh, now I’m really upset. My first reaction was, “It looks like H.J. Ward’s stuff,” but then I saw that it wasn’t tagged and I thought, “Well, maybe it’s not Ward. Maybe it’s a copy-cat who got the boobs wrong. Ward never made boobs like that.” And now it’s tagged as Ward. So I guess Ward DID make boobs like that. I’m gonna stick with my gut reaction from now on until I’m proven wrong.
I think the lady’s anatomy (including her boobs, which are being squeezed by the dress) is OK(!) Her legs, resting on the chap’s knee, are beautifully observed, and a real illusion of weight is achieved.
