With the first quick look, I initially thought I was looking at a photograph of a woman, and so I moved on. The second quick look showed that it was actually a painting of a woman and then the crystal ball started working and the words, “Rudolph Belarski,” popped out. Then I took a third look and now I have confirmed that the crystal ball is, indeed, correct, because his signature is found on the painting. (It’s to the right of her blonde hair.)
I thought the unlucky day was supposed to be FRIDAY 13th, not thursday ? https://pulpcovers.com/?s=murder+had+a+little+lamb
There were 2 fridays 13th in 1946, in september & december.
Choosing the title “Let me kill you tenderly”, featuring an electric chair in the background, was a little bit cynical, wasn’t it ?
