It certainly is an interesting suit – with the added bonus of Enoch Bolles humour – as in anchors a weigh (or weigh them anchors sailors, whalers and landlubbers all)…and why did he paint a fish so close to her desert flower. Another Freudian slip perhaps? Why a Desert Flower you ask, kiddies? Because it looks as though a camel has trodden there.
I want to know, did they REALLY have suites like that in 1935. Does anyone have a real picture of a woman wearing a suite like that?
