  1. Looking over John A. Coughlin’s covers on this site once more, I now see that the same positioning of the characters in this cover (and also in the other three disputed covers) is used in other Coughlin covers. This leads me now to believe that all four covers (the two versions of the one cover, and the two versions of the other cover) which go back and forth between David Berger and Coughlin, are actually all Coughlin covers.

    You have two covers (correctly, I think) tagged as Coughlin, and you have these two covers tagged as Berger.

    I am less familiar with Berger than with Coughlin, but it seems quite evident that all four covers were done by the same artist. So they are either all Berger or all Coughlin and now they all seem to me to be Coughlin.
