Submarine Rescue

I am sure this illustration accompanied a story titled “The Yank Frogman Who Single-Handedly Destroyed Hitler’s Favorite Waffle Place” or some such, but I don’t actually know where it is from. Heritage Auctions unhelpfully lists this as “Men’s Adventure Magazine illustration”. If anyone knows which magazine it is from, and especially the name of the illustrated story, I would be most grateful.

Leopard Woman

Sport-Life-April-1954---Leopard-Wome1

She was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in Africa. Her skin possessed a sheen not often found among Negroes. She was tall and graceful, with high, full breasts, and long, wonderfully molded legs. Her eyes were startling. They were oblique, and flecked with yellow. In the lamplight of that room they gleamed strangely.

This issue also features ‘The Death Commandos‘, “I’m Going to Steal Your Car Tonight“, and ‘What Every Man Must Know About Women’s Breasts‘. Although, if you have to read about it in this magazine, it probably won’t do you any good.

I would really like to know what is happening in this picture.

“One was a nymphomaniac… one wanted to be loved for her body… one did her best “work” after hours. And each fit neatly into the fastest-paced diamonds-and-dollars heist on record.”

This painting illustrated the story “Three Couple Affair” in Stag magazine in May 1967. via via

Kuwait: Richest, Wildest Kingdom on Earth

21081196-kuwait_l[1]

Every 468th man in this slaphappy, oil-soaked “Arabian Nights” Paradise in a millionaire plus — living high off the camel in air-conditioned, neon-lit palaces with a beauty pageant parade of wives and mistresses “imported” from around the world.

When is the last time you hear Kuwait described as “slaphappy”?
