I love everything about this cover: the shabby shanty petrol station, the old car, especially her wild hair and her face and the half-dead tree. It all adds up to a feeling of despair don’t you think? But the birds in flight – they look suspiciously like ducks – (which may or may not be a metaphor for the humans lives) could have been drawn better. But like drawing clouds or oceans it is very hard to draw birds in full graceful flight so I forgive you, Victor. Thanks for another great painting!
