Yes, this original cover came from “Mystery Book” as the ‘summer 1948’ issue. “Murder Is A Habit” was the cv, condensed version, of an older, 1941 book by Brett Halliday titled, “Bodies Are Where You Find Them.” THEN, in 1949, Popular Library #192 reused this as its paperback cover.
To make things more confusing, the British edition kept the title of “Murder Is A Habit” (obvious spoiler alert) as a 1952 book from Jarrold’s UK. (I’ll send PL 192 to show the same artwork)
