A selection of cover art by Daniel Crouse for the very popular Mack Bolan novels. How popular? There are over six hundred novels in this series. As of 2009, Mack Bolan novels are published at a rate of twelve each year by Gold Eagle Books, a division of Harlequin.

    Dear Pulp Covers,

I adore this site so much!

I run a romance novel-related blog and whenever I’m researching a cover model or artist from 1970 to the 1990s, at least 50% of the time there’s some information to find about them here at Pulp Covers.

Currently, I’m looking into the career of model Alain Jarry, and he appeared on about 100 Mack Bolan covers (many of them painted by Daniel Crouse who passed away in 1992).

I wish I could find that many romance covers; so far I’ve found about a dozen, thanks to you!

I’m still researching Jarry, but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your record-keeping of covers and artists.

    Cheers,
    Jacqueline Diaz
